Two ventured West Shore but said too gusty and wind more N than forecast so all set off for nearby Morfa where wind was almost dead onshore which made getting off a bit tricky but made it on second attempt. 2-3 foot surf and flat areas of beach, all moving around as tide dropped. Wind gusty but OK and mid-powered on average on 9m Knocked off a few times by surf then started to negotiate better. Thinking about surf so much forgot about turns which were all coming off, bar one where I tried too hard. Pleased to enjoy challenging conditions and good to watch the good guys and gals jumping and wave riding. About 10 out.
